Why the cheaper option usually costs more

Replacing an old system with the cheapest possible alternative can feel cheaper on day one, but it usually means higher running costs, fewer savings, and another replacement decision sooner than you expect.

For many Gold Coast households, the more expensive move is keeping the wrong system in place and paying for it every quarter. That's why we frame the fixed $3,600 pathway around total cost of ownership, not just install-day price.

What Could Add to the Cost?

Our $3,600 standard install covers the vast majority of installations. The following situations may require additional work:

Switchboard upgrade

If your switchboard doesn't have a spare circuit or needs safety upgrades

$300–$800

Major pipe relocation

If the new unit needs to be installed in a different location from your old system

$200–$600

Crane access

If the installation site can't be accessed by standard means

$400–$1,200

Asbestos removal

If asbestos materials are present near the installation site

Quoted separately

We always confirm the scope before starting work. If additional work is needed, we'll provide a clear quote before proceeding.

Why homeowners move forward now

  • • Every quarter on an old electric system is more money wasted.
  • • STC rebates step down every year until the scheme ends.
  • • Waiting often means paying more to keep the old system alive and then paying more again when it finally fails.

Still On The Fence?

Let's Address That.

Why is your price fixed at $3,600?
We've streamlined our process to offer a single, transparent price that covers everything for a standard installation. No quoting games, no hidden extras. The $3,600 includes the unit, labour, old system removal, and all government rebate paperwork.
What would make my installation non-standard?
Most installations are standard. Non-standard situations include: needing a switchboard upgrade ($300–$800), major pipe relocation ($200–$600), crane access for difficult locations ($400–$1,200), or asbestos near the installation site (quoted separately). We always confirm before starting.
Do I pay the full price upfront or can I pay in instalments?
The $3,600 is payable on completion of installation. We don't require deposits for standard installations. We accept bank transfer, credit card, and cash. Interest-free payment plans may be available — ask us for details.
What if the system costs more than $3,600 without rebates?
The retail price of a heat pump hot water system plus installation typically ranges from $4,500 to $5,500. Government STC rebates worth approximately $800–$1,200 bring the cost down. Our $3,600 price already includes that discount — you don't need to claim anything separately.
Is there a call-out fee for quotes?
No. Site assessments are free for Gold Coast homeowners. If your installation is standard, we confirm the $3,600 price. If additional work is needed, we provide an itemised quote before proceeding — no obligation.
